Why an editing-desk drink can still tip
Avoid accidental contact before relying on a holder.
Hands travel beyond the keyboard
A sudden reach for a shortcut pad, headset or notebook can cross a drink’s position. Place the drink outside that path and revisit the layout when equipment changes. A holder widens the base but does not stop a hand or cable striking the container.
Desk mats have edges
A base resting partly on a mat and partly on the desk can have uneven support. Keep the entire footprint on one suitable level surface. Steadi does not level a slanted drafting desk or compensate for equipment beneath the base.
Protect the workflow with placement
The first choice is a usable clear location away from liquid-sensitive equipment. Check fit, carry the container itself and move it before rearranging the desk. Steadi provides no electronics protection guarantee, and no wider-base claim should be read as permission to crowd the mixer or drives.
